Sowore & Bakare Regain Freedom after 126 Days in DSS Detention

The Department of State Services (DSS) has released Omoyele Sowore, convener of RevolutionNow Movement, who has been in detention since August 3.

Sowore who spent 125 days in DSS detention was released on Thursday evening December 5 to his lawyers.

Marshall Abubakar, one of Sowore’s lawyers confirmed his release

“He has been released. I am with him as we speak,” he told TheCable over the phone,

Abubakar added that Olawale Bakare, Sowore’s co-defendant, was also set free.
